In the physical yoga therapy practice, we combine and explore various postures with supports were needed to assist alignment. Somatic and tensegrity movements to help build muscular & nervous system connections building whole body system knowledge and strength in all parts of the body (especially the deep core). Gentle flowing movements link with breath to warm the body, boosting positive energy and the connection to breath & body.
We also explore Yin & Restorative postures as well as slo-mo ball releases to assist the letting go of holdings in the deep connective tissues and fasciaVarious breath techniques are taught with the focus to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation response) & deepen breath awareness in the body. Learning to move Prana (Breath) through the body helps cleanse and clear space in the whole body and its many layers.
In the Registered Group Yoga Therapy Classes, we begin with a 15-minute check-in. Followed by anatomy education with visuals and discussion on what we will be exploring in class that day. During the class, you have the freedom to ask questions as they arise. It is advised in each practice to honour being in the present, staying mindful & open-minded and taking the time to explore your bodies sensations, your pain-free range of motion, explore the emotions that may arise during practice, as well as the thought patterns that come into play. There is no separation between your mental, emotional, physical and energetic Body.
Annie’s Yoga Therapy classes and workshops recognize that the many layers of self are all connected and when we pay attention and listen to all these messages this is when we learn to accept what is in the present, let things go and ultimately we then grow.

“NEW” Self Care Yoga Therapy Practice for MOMS
Sundays 7:45-9pm Jan 19 – Feb 23
6 week scheduled practice time for YOU to Replenish and take care of YOU!
In this class, we take time to connect, check-in with each other share some stories and insights about our lives ( maybe have a little Momma venting – which is very healthy) and then Annie will guide you through a yoga practice to help you get into your bodies and connect to our physical center, then open up to focused breath connection and land in our energetic center’s. We will play with several techniques each week exploring new ways to connect. She will offer daily tips to support you in creating healthy balance and boundaries for yourself and she encourages all participants to share their tips as well – We all have something to share and teach others and we all have something to receive and learn from one another. There will be time left at the end of class for you to linger and chit chat together if you desire for extra time to connect.
Weekly Drop-in By Donation Classes
Sundays 6-7:30/40pm Gentle Flow & Restore (with 15-20mins Yoga Nidra at the end)
This is a full spectrum class a little bit of everything I love to teach. We begin with grounding and centring breath in Constructive Rest Pose, then move into a flowing practice that will shake off the day and hydrate the body (modified for all abilities) and then dive into some slower longer postures and movements ending with 20min Yoga Nidra (sleep) – you will wish there is a taxi waiting for you outside cause you will be ready for bedtime.
Thursdays 12-1pm Yoga Therapy Lunch Hr
We have 1hr to delve into the needs of the day in a gracious way. In this class, Annie will check in with you individually assessing what your needs are and needs of the group at that moment. Then we weave all that into a balanced slow-paced practice for all to enjoy and benefit from. Something for Every – body!
